Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato

E’ la Società di ingegneria del Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato a cui, sin dal 1984, è affidato il compito di elaborare la progettazione, effettuare le gare d’appalto, eseguire la direzione e la supervisione dei lavori ed il project management per tutti i grandi investimenti infrastrutturali del Gruppo. Inoltre Italferr esporta verso terzi il know how ingegneristico di Ferrovie dello Stato attraverso la promozione e la commercializzazione, su mercati diversi da quello captive, dei propri servizi, sia all’estero che in Italia.
La Società è fortemente impegnata nella progettazione e nella realizzazione di opere compatibili a livello ambientale e con i bisogni e le attese espresse dalla collettività.

In tale ottica, il Sistema di Gestione integrato per la Qualità (ISO 9001), l’Ambiente (ISO 14001) e la Salute e Sicurezza (OHSAS 18001), per il quale Italferr ha già ottenuto la certificazione da SGS (Societé Genèrelle de Surveillance), rappresenta un importante garanzia per tutti i Clienti. Le certificazioni collocano Italferr nel ristretto numero di Società in grado di fornire al Cliente prestazioni di alto livello in accordo con gli standard e i requisiti internazionali.

Italferr è una delle prime società in Italia ad aver conseguito l’accreditamento come Organismo d’Ispezione, conformemente alla norma ISO /IEC 17020, per validare i progetti.

Mission and strategy

Italferr is the Italian State Railways Group engineering company. It designs and builds infrastructural and technological work contemplated in investment and upgrade plans for the railways. Italferr operates across the national boundaries and abroad (Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America), in the traditional, High Speed/High Capacity and metropolitan transport sectors. The services provided by the company have high technological content and have enabled it to develop an integrated engineering model for overall management of projects and tasks it is entrusted with.

The Company is focused on design and implementation of works compatible both with the environment and with the needs and expectations expressed by the community.
Due to the growing relevance of these instances in our society and in the business and economic community, and also for the responsibility that every organization has versus the health and safety of its workers, Italferr promotes a policy of Quality, Environment and Safety , guide and reference point for its personnel in all its activities sectors.
