Since 23 May 2023, Adriano has been Chief Human Resources Officer for the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane SpA Group.

In November 2022, he was hired by the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane SpA Group to hold the position of Head of Human Resources within the Corporate Affairs structure.

From April 2021 to October 2022, Adriano was Human Resources Director for the Permasteelisa Group, where he was responsible for the design and execution of the Global HR and Talent Strategy.

From 2014 to 2020, Adriano was Chief Human Resources and Country Leader for Turkey with the Comdata Group, where he coordinated the definition and execution of the overall HR strategy within the various countries.

Adriano was part of the Executive Committee of the Comdata Group and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Group’s subsidiaries in Italy and abroad.

He was Vice President of Human Resources for Whirlpool (June 2009–December 2013), where he managed the definition and implementation of the HR strategy in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), taking care of the Talent Acquisition and Management, Talent Development, Training, Performance Management, Compensation and Industrial Relations policies.

From 2000 to 2007, Adriano held several positions of increasing responsibility in Human Resources with Pirelli Tyre SpA in the lead-up to his appointment as Human Resources Director for Pirelli UK Limited from 2005 to 2007.

A graduate in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, Adriano started his career with Philips Medical System before spending two years at Ernst & Young Consultants.
